ROUTEA carefully curates' tea blends through people’s tea stories. For example, sweet, iced jasmine green tea was one of my favorite childhood teas I always drink in a hot and humid Indonesia. It is easily accessible through street stalls and convenience stores nationwide. I was having a hard time finding one in Seattle; hence, JASMINE BREEZE tea pouch was created so I can share my tea story through tea blends.
The story inspired me to brew tea blends based on people’s stories, to educate others, and exchange cultural knowledge beyond the status quo.
Hi! My name is Monica, I am former fashion designer and wardrobe stylist who have worked at multiple retail corporate and decided to take the leap and start @routeacafe
Tea gave me comfort when I needed it the most and I wanted to share the sense of comfort with others. For the past few years, I always buy looseleaf teas and had to carry my tea diffuser with me all time. As much as I love loose leaf tea, the setup was getting inconvenient for me, cleaning the tea diffuser when the loose-leaf is stuck hits me lol.
So... I decided to experiment on assembling tea blends myself with the convenience of compostable tea bags, here in Seattle, WA, and that's how ROUTEA was born!
PS: all tea bags are compostable!!
